Yeah, I can agree with that. What Leslie Jones endured what hellishly awful. I don't blame the filmmakers for that hough, but the studio who didnt' defend her, and in fact often stocked an antogonistic relationship. And teh fans too obviously.

As with Rise of Skywalker, I can't really support a film who's raison d'être is that terrorist fans that doxxed and sent death threats to Leslie Jones are kind of getting what they wanted. Also, the original Ghostbusters movie was heavily improvised, certainly Bill Murray's dialogue. Often, the improv in movies like Apatow and Apatow-adjacent films like Adam McKay films tend to use improv on line-specific things. They're not typically things like Curb Your Enthusiasm. Adam McKay will often shout out alternate lines for the actors to recite from behind the camera. So, it's not a kind of improv that alters the composition of the shots or things like that. It's more to provide options for editing.

I loved the Ghostbusters movied as a kid and loved the cartoon even more. I've always wished for a third film. I thought this film did a wonderful job paying tribute to Harold Ramis. The moment at the end with the og Ghostbusters was great especialy seeing Winston as an equal member of the team and the after credits scene with him and Janine was great with him taking about how Egon taught him how to be unafraid of going after what he wants and also opens up the door for further better sequels and man Ernie Hudson does not age! I agree with the critisisim that this film leaned to heavily on nostalgia, also the older two kids didn't make much of an impact. Pheobe and Podcast were my two favourite characters, I would have liked it if they had established Pheobe as being autistic and that scene between Podcast and Ray was hilarious. Fun but flawed is definently how I would describe this film. Hoping for further movies were Winston can play a main role. My only question remaining from the film is who was Egons' wife?!
