Horror/comedy sounds interesting but it also sounds like a lot of these rely on meta humor. Do you have a recommended entry point for someone who hasn't seen a lot of horror?

2021-10-04 15:32:44 +0000 UTCEvery October, I go back and rewatch the Spanish version of "Dracula" (1931). Back then, it was often easier and more salable to redo the film than to dub or subtitle it. An all-Spanish cast would come at night and use the same set after the English cast went home. They actually got to watch the dailies from the English production and improve upon things. I don't speak or understand Spanish (I turn on captions), but the camera work, direction, and some of the acting is better than the English one. 2021-10-04 15:19:24 +0000 UTCI think there was a lag. I got the "private" thumbnail, but it started when I clicked on it anyway. Sometimes Jessie posts stuff as private to go "live" at a specific time, and that's sometimes out of sync with when the Patreon post goes up.
