As we continue our Star Trek Enterprise rewatch, when Archer sees a pretty girl in a nightgown in the middle of the jungle, things get way less interesting then you would think! Let's talk about it in the latest episode of The Long Road podcast.

Ello Jessie, lol. congrats on the consult, giggle away! LOLZ you horny weirdo 🥰 And yes Jessie you would not be able to see the planet without a sun to light it up, but it would show up on radar reflection. Hi Newt, I'm only 1 second off on synch this time, woot! I guess some volcanic activity would keep things warm in those areas, but I hope it does not smell like sulphur. These aliens remind me of beer-guzzling-hunter-bros that I've met and yah, hunting is a complicated topic, i've killed and eaten many animals when i was younger. Phlox would have loved to study this planet, and be the voice on the ethics of hunting, that would have been interesting. I'm guessing the aliens have millions of wanna be hunters *think Earth* and would have to regulate how many 'animals' they could hunt. I think Archer would have gone looking for the Native if it was a man, but with less... enthusiasm. About the pacing, maybe the script was so thin that instead of bringing Phlox down for more content they opted for Padding *sigh*. Yeah, the wraith thing, why did they wait to get to the ethics of hunting a sentient being? - I don't have a problem with Archer's wishy-washyness about the prime directive, he's still trying to figure out what it should be, going back and forth as to what is too much, not enough; I empathize. The idea of Archer imaginary woman coming back is kinda like #1 and Minuet. Not the strongest episode, but i'm glad i could watch it with you.
