The way I'm gonna run this is I'm gonna pick some movies I'm interested in watching/rewatching, and everyone gets to vote! 2021-04-05 08:23:39 +0000 UTCI was so close to picking "Knives Out", because I love that movie so much. But I've been meaning to get back to "The Mummy: The Good One" for some time. This is the extra lil kick in the tuchus I need. EDIT: Also, "The Mummy: The Good One" is a pure popcorn flick. It's both so good one could enjoy it alone, but it's also silly enough that it lends itself to commentary. It's unpretentious that way. A big part of its sadly-dated charm: It doesn't take itself seriously. It's earnest, but it just wants to please, without any of that sad self-obsession that so many wannabe-franchine-starters (/shade) can't seem to avoid.
