2021-06-15 00:07:23 +0000 UTCHmmm. Gotta say, Jessie, I was a little disappointed that there was no moment in this commentary where you burst into some Creedance Clearwater Revival. Surely there was at least one time when you could have sung "It ain't meee!!!" And in my opinion, we can never get too much Jessie singing.

Jessie, I give you permission to be as randy as you want on the podcast π About the tension between Travis and the boomer; I think they were emphasizing the tribalism that boomers can fall into "Why did you abandon your family, Travis?" And I think this is one of the theme's addressed in the episode - we can easily fall into us vs them which can happen when people are angry and frightened. So, yeah it is a dumb plan but I a have seen frightened people do dumb things and spiral down into some really bad actions. I like the episode and love watching with friends, here and on the Discord.
