2021-01-05 08:29:23 +0000 UTCit was fun. i splurged on a VIP-ish package where there was a dinner (with about 200 people) with some celebrities milling about (Francine Nuyen, Jack Donner, Jeff Conway , i think Alexandra Tydings from Xena). this was back in the day when minor fan conventions would come through all sorts of cities, not just the major regional cities. I've got a whole wall of autographs from all those conventions, in addition to Nimoy and DeLancie, i've got James Doohan, George Takei, Nichelle Nichols, Walter Koenig, Andrew Robinson, Garrett Wang, Alexander Siddig, Claudia Christian, and Jeremy Bolloch the original Boba Fett.

2021-01-05 04:04:24 +0000 UTCI saw a live performance of the second one of these they did at a convention back in the early 2000s where Nimoy said that was the last time he would play Spock (this was well before the JJ Abrams movie). i still got my CD of the first one signed by both of them.
