The concept of inertial dampers is an inconsistent thing in sci-fi. Obviously you'd need something like that if you're going to accelerate from a stop to light speeds, otherwise you'd flatten the crew against the walls. But then little bumps and collisions shouldn't cause so much jostling as they *always* do. Pick one, writers! LOL
2021-05-13 17:49:25 +0000 UTCand yes, in TOS Spock did ask for a brandy or whisky, I think it was in the episode about Trelaine. and jeez, how much gravity does that 30 km comet have? it should literally have next to 0 g's of gravity, they should be struggling to stay on the surface not the other way round.
