Analyzing Star Trek Discovery's Beautiful LGBTQ Themes

Star Trek Discovery's fourth episode of season 3, "Forget Me Not" has  been incredibly controversial for many in the LGBTQ community. But  despite some of my misgivings and concerns, I still found a lot to love,  so let's talk about the LGBTQ themes of Star Trek Discovery "Forget Me  Not".

<3 It's ok to not make peace with it. I just tried to offer my critique, but I by now means wish to tell people to be ok with happened.

Again, thanks for the video. I guess I'll try and continue watching with episode 4 in the queue this evening. Re: your grandfather: I'm so sorry. I too know what it means to lose family during the pandemic... I lost my French aunt, all the way back in April. (I live in Germany.) I still haven't been able to visit my cousins and their families, or my aunt's grave for that matter. I could barely help my mother grieve, and she lives close by; but my parents are high-risk so I don't even get to visit them very often. Maybe I'll make it to France next year. It's such a bad situation all around. Again, I'm so sorry for your loss.

Thanks for this. I will hopefully watch it in a few hours (it's 5am here). You so often offer important insights in your analyses, and I'm still hoping to make my peace with episode four. Maybe it'll help.
