2020-09-15 05:46:37 +0000 UTCPersonally, I've always found Lovecraft's writing to be pretty racist stuff. This has always been problematic for me because I enjoy the whole Elder Gods pantheon and Lovecraft 's work has inspired some amazing horror (which I LOVE) but he was a racist, and a thread of racism does run through his writing.

2020-09-09 18:14:16 +0000 UTCLovecraft country is weirdly running into a lot of racism they're inserting into HPL's writing, which is not something I'd normally have seen. What with Epstein the Jewish scientist drinking the blood of black children and now our heroes killing a Native American magician. Both of which are on them rather than Matt Ruff or even Howard Phillips.
