A Critique of Modern Star Trek - By A Fan
Added 2020-06-26 20:06:00 +0000 UTCNow, as anyone who has followed my channel for any length of time knows, I will go to bat for the Abrams/Kurtzman era of Star Trek any day. I believe the Star Trek we have now is truly beautiful and unique, and still reflects the same optimistic light of Star Trek in a slightly different refraction. But, like all of Star Trek, I think there are things that have become hallmarks of Trek’s modern era that I don’t like as much, things that I see across all productions in this era, that I want to critique and discuss here, not to TAKE DOWN THE DANG KURTZMAN, DESTROYER OF ALL THINGS STAR TREK, but to just offer constructive criticism and engender discussion.
