The Witcher: Transgender Transition Regret

Despite some wonky choices here and there, I loved the Witcher, but  there was one story beat in particular that really really spoke to me as  a trans woman, and that’s the story of Yennifer of Vengerberg, or  specifically, her fantastic glow-up midway through the season.

The place I use is called Repotech. It's about $300 every year though, so not inexpensive sadly.

A friend of mine has been trying to find affordable places to freeze genetic material and everywhere was very expensive. If you have suggestions on places for this person that would be helpful <3

Just saw this. Thank you for sharing this Evlyn. I've never actually heard this side of detransitioning much before, so I appreciate you sharing it. I'll def do more research and try to learn more about that side of things. <3

(watched the vid) You handled it well. <3 Maybe I already shared this with you, I am not certain, but I detransitioned after a first attempt to transition in 2006-2008 because I felt like I was heading toward a dead end. It was very painful and it hurt me a lot, I wish that had help at that time. It took me years to heal from that and to find myself back. I found back the courage to be myself again in 2016 and I was able to transition with better support this time. I find it hard to deal with all the years I lost during my detranstion, there is no easy way to mourn what was lost. People talk about detransitioning after discovering that someone is not trans after all but I rarely see discussions about people who detranstioned out of distress while they still felt like they were trans.

This is a difficult subject. :(
