πŸ‘» Spooky Vibes Coming Soon! 🍿

It's officially that time of year again where the air gets crisp, the pumpkins start molding on front porches, and I test my bravery (or lack thereof) by diving into the world of thriller/horror!

To kick things off this year, I'll be watching ALIENS very soon πŸ‘½βœ¨ As well as finally facing my fear and watching The Conjuring. Last year I chickened out during the intro, but this October I'm doing it no matter! I am determined!

As far as the rest of the movies go, I'd love YOU to help build our Spooky Vibes Watchlist! Drop all your suggestions for horror and thriller films below. Also be sure to throw in some comedy/horror films, otherwise I'll be sleeping with the lights on all month & my electric bill does not deserve that fate πŸ˜…

Starting next week, I'll be putting out weekly polls to see which spooky film I watch next! We'll keep this rolling throughout October and see how many I can handle before Halloween lol

Thank you all for being the best part of this little movie-loving corner of the internet. I can't wait to scream, laugh, and hide behind blankets with you all this spooky season! 🧑

Even though it's a tough one, I'd recommend The Exorcist considering it's importance in this genre.

Movies - rookie lvl horror - John Carpenter's Halloween (OG horror), Poltergeist (was released in theatres as a PG !) - Gremlins (also works as a Christmas movie) - Ghostbusters (REALLY funny)

Haunting of Hill House would be my vote. It’s a show but it’s only 1 season. More spooky than terrifying (there are a few jump scares that are pretty intense) but the story is great and the acting is great. Have a box of tissues handy as well. But I’ll still watch whatever you post

Al Higginbotham

This is probably pretty common, but I'd LOVE to watch Stranger Things again (not sure if you've seen it)

ThinkClint

I think, I already mentioned The Fly 1986 as Jeff Goldblum/Dr. Chaos' best performance. But I think, I forgot to mention it's actually a horror movie. Also horror comedy, someone else already mentioned Gremlins but it's worth mentioning again.

Noblegut

For a pure horror movie, I'd definitely recommend: The Thing (1982) for more "halloween comedy": What We Do In The Shadows (2014) - super short pitch for it is, The Office, but with vampires)

AzraRillian

Co-signing "Interview With The Vampire" as its another Tom Cruise featured movie. The Terminator is arguably Sci Fi horror but I'm sure you'll watch that eventually regardless! Predator is another good one (Action Horror) and Prey is great.

KJ Gould

Yes I was just thinking about that.

KJ Gould

Since we are loving Tom Cruise. Interview with a Vampire
