🦋 This Week's Watchlist ✨

Hey everyone!

So first off- quick note about the poll: it didn't happen last week because I decided on a whim to squeeze in the final Jurassic World film: Rebirth this week instead! I just couldn't leave this franchise unfinished after loving it so much. I'll be putting together another Instagram carousel ranking for the Jurassic films (like how I did for Star Wars hehe). So, the poll will go up tomorrow instead!

Here's what's on the watchlist this week:

🚀 Battlestar Galactica: Season 2 Episodes 17 & 18
I can’t believe we’re about to wrap up Season 2 next week! 😱 This season has been absolutely wild. Twists, turns, and so many more questions. If last season’s finale is anything to go by, I’m low-key terrified to see how this one ends.

✨ Andor: Season 1 Episodes 4-6
I’m so ready to dive deeper into Cassian’s story. The first three episodes of Andor were such a gritty, quiet immersion into his world and I can't wait to see where his journey takes us next.

🕷 The Amazing Spider-Man 2
You all know how much I have adored Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker so far. His honesty, his love for Gwen, and the way he fully embraces that as his moral compass. It's been such a breathe of fresh air. Real and raw. I'm beyond ready for this one.

🦖 Jurassic World: Rebirth
So I'll be honest, Scarlett Johansson being in this was one of my main motivators for starting the Jurassic journey in the first place. And even though I've heard mixed reviews about this one, I might just be happy enough seeing her in this world to take on the dino chaos. Each Jurassic film has surprised me in unexpected ways, so I'm cautiously excited. It feels like the perfect way to wrap up our Summertime Vibes series!

And don't worry- 50 First Dates is still coming as our big summertime finale next week!

⚓️ Pirates Bonus!
I completely missed the post-credit scene in At World's End 😅 I'm so sad because I've 'accidentally' remembered the last two but this one completely slipped my mind and I wrapped up my intro before it hit. I know I mentioned to a few of you that I'll watch it in the beginning of the fourth film next summer, but I honestly don't want to wait that long. Apparently it's a must-see moment, so I'll be watching it and uploading a short video so you can see my reaction instead of waiting until next year!
