Added 2025-08-06 14:26:24 +0000 UTCI got soooo many recommendations for this one! And when I saw a ton of other reactors on YouTube watching it, I felt like I really needed to check it out too! I definitely wasn't expecting to feel this moved. I went into this thinking it would be silly and visually stunning, which it totally was! But there were deeper messages woven into the heart of the story. About identity, inner demons, and the pressure to constantly perform. It really hit me on a very personal level.
The way it blended personal healing, found family, and spiritual strength through music was incredibly beautiful. Every song gave me full body goosebumps. And I was absolutely blown away by the talent and emotion behind every single track. I'm actually shocked I haven't listened to K-pop before this, but now? I need recommendations if you have them lol.
This film wasn't just entertaining. It made me reflect so deeply about my own journey and struggles with inner demons, and I love when art does that! If this is your first time watching it too, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

2025-08-13 02:43:52 +0000 UTCAs a longtime Kpop listener, I went into this with very low expectations. I loved it within minutes and obsessed by the end of it, haha. There is definitely songs in kpop that sounds like these songs, but just like with all music, there is genres within the kpop genre too and a lot of different styles. If you ever would look into any kpop music, it's amazing, but it is also a rabbit hole that you may or may not ever come out of, for good and for bad :P Loved your reaction as always!

I've heard snippets of K Pop before but I never truly listened to it, and I really liked what I heard here. Very catchy, very energetic. The whole movie was just electric. You covered a lot of it with your outro thoughts. Just a really good blind watch. One thing I was really not prepared for was how clearly this must have been inspired by Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I would bet my paycheck the writers are Buffy fans, because there are Buffy fingerprints all over it. Some of it subtle, some of it not really subtle at all. None of which I can go into detail about because I know you haven't watched it yet (he says, desperately hoping you will start it sometime soon :p)
