I hope you're all doing well and feeling excited as we step into a few brand-new adventures together. This week is the official launch of our Sci-Fi era, and I genuinely couldn't be more excited for it! This has been a long time coming, and I'm so ready to jump in.

Between some rough seasonal migraines that graced me on Friday and then Easter weekend with the family coming in hot, this one fell through the cracks last week! But I'm super ready to dive into the magic and mystery of this one. Thank you for your patience!

Our next movie ticket pick by Sterling! This one totally surprised me as a pick- comedy, drama, and wait... a musical?? This will actually be my first ever musical reaction, which is so fun and a little nerve-wracking in the best way. Huge thanks for this unexpectedly exciting pick!
🌌 Battlestar Galactica (BSG) Begins!
As suggested, I'll be jumping in with the Miniseries that apparently sets the whole universe in motion! I've heard so much about the depth and emotion in this show, and I'm already bracing myself to fall deep into this world (is it called a 'verse like Firefly???)
✨ Star Wars - A New Hope (Episode IV)
Yep, you read that right- we're going in release order! After all of your amazing feedback and opinions, I'm watching Star Wars the way YOU experienced it when it first came out. Starting with Episode IV feels like a wild concept, and I'm really curious to see why George Lucas chose to begin the saga this way. I know how special this series is for so many of you, and I feel honored to finally begin the journey here.
☣️ The Last of Us - Season 2, Episode 3 (Late Sunday Night Drop)
I'm heading back in Sunday night. I'll be real with you all. I'm still reeling from the episode last night. It really flipped my entire perception of the show and I can't help but go into the next episode with a mix of caution and curiosity. Holding space for whatever comes next, but it just doesn't feel the same..
👀 MCU UPDATE: I'm taking this week off MCU content while I get YouTube caught up with WandaVision episodes. Next week, I'm jumping back in with Black Widow! See you all there!

With Star Wars you kind of need to go in release order otherwise the prequels will ruin some plot twists from the original movies. That said, you could watch Andor (Final Season 2 starts today), Andor leads into Rogue One Movie which then leads into A New Hope. Yeah I know, it gets complicated with all these prequel movies and tv shows, lol. To keep it simplified you can just watch everything in release order. Also, since you've never seen the originals, watching the Lucas re-released versions of the films will be fine, besides, I believe you can only find the untouched original films on VHS tapes.

SW is very much about older, more traditional values, when people believed in good and bad and not everything was a gray area. Will be an interesting contrast in styles.
