About the new Patreon Fees
Added 2017-12-08 19:25:35 +0000 UTCHello everyone. I'm sure that by now you all know about the changes on the way fees are handled that Patreon is planing to implement soon.
Basically they are moving the payments fees from we creators, to you our supporters. They will be charging a fee of 2.9% plus $0.35 for every pledge, effectively having multiple 1-2$ pledges way more expensive.
Most creators (me included) were okay with covering those fees ourselves, but moving that fee to our supporters is not something I agree with, and I completely understand if any will be forced to drop their pledges if this changes comes to effect. Here's the post they made if you want more details:

I love supporting other artists, but even I had to cut a few of them due to this changes, even if it pains me to do it, so I understand if you need to do the same with mine. Due to this, I may change things up in the future if needed.
I don't think this is the end of all things (yet) so I'll see how things turn out in the future, and I thank everyone that has supported me, no matter the amount.
