Lcpl's Cader and Brewer were two such hand picked Marines due to their accuracy even WITHOUT using the weapon's tracking system, preferring to fire it manually because of a "lack of trust in a machine's decisions over human instinct."
To her instructor's surprise, Lcpl Cader scored a perfect 40/40 with the Smartgun in basic training, earning the Expert marksmanship medal.
While not quite as proficient in accuracy, Lcpl Brewer set the record in fastest completed time in his Smartgun training.
