Small recon and re-write for Path of the Berserker

So sometimes when you are writing fast you get caught up in the moment and deviate from your plot outline and make some unintended consequences. Such was the case with chapter 52 I realized.
The outcomes would all be the same, but in my outline it was only supposed to be an argument between Jian Yi and Chun based on the letter from Hein. During the writing however I added the more dramatic opening by having the mob chasing Yu Li.
In the end it painted Jian Yi as more of a villain than I intended. My first re-write tried to couch it some, but I don't think it really worked. I've gone back and changed the dynamics now to make it a misunderstanding more than Jian Yi losing control. Her reasons for slapping Yu Li initially are more clarified too, as an act of strategy to (poke the bear) and not cruelty. She still pays for it by getting a punch from Chun too.
The other thing was, it was always the intention to have Chun make her the sect leader, but when I checked my original outline, I had that quite a few chapters later after some more character development. I got caught up in the moment and tried to shoehorn it in early and it come across as Chun making a somewhat rash decision rather than a prudent one.
So, a small retcon for the end of 52. Chun doesn't make her the leader. He will later, once some more character development occurs which should hopefully make for a more satisfying resolution that resonates as true.
Anyway. More soon. But needed to put this out there so your don't say... "huh? Didn't he already do this?" later. Also if might be worth re-reading the end of 51 and 52 to get a sense of the new dynamics of Jian Yi's character. Let me know if you think it works better.
