Basically, she is clever. She does not have a boyfriend. She has fallen in love with the main character as he saved her. Un/fortunately she cannot dare to take any steps.
She is good at a lot of things. She will be hated almost by everybody except by you. You are almost the only one who can understand the way she thinks. She does not like alcohol but you can convince her to drink some.

It definitely looks more natural. And maybe you should consider changing the poses of the characters, they mostly seem to be marines reporting their superiors with the hands in their back ;-)
