Lord Cardigan: British aristocrat who purchased his commissions and was briefly dismissed for being "constitutionally unfit for command" only to use his connections to get back into the army, spent his only pre-Crimean War deployment hunting tigers, travelled back to Britain in his own ship away from his men (spent only 4 weeks of 2 years with his men since his appointment), spent the modern equivalent of £1,000,000 on dripping out his regiment's uniforms after impressing Prince Albert, referred to his more experienced officers as 'Indian officers' even arresting one for ordering a friend (of said officer) a wine that LOOKED LIKE one he banned, pulled the victorian duelling version of an amateur using autoaim in a manual-aim-only 1v1 warzone round and was unanimously acquitted by a jury full of aristocrats, spent the entirety of the Crimean War continuing his beef with one of his in-laws (Lord Lucan) and complained about not being used instead of commanding his men competently. Or A fully armed Russian artillery battery aiming right where this moron is about to lead a fucking cavalry charge after being given orders a two day old New York $1.50 pizza slice could have written better.
