(Re)Prompted Down To Business

Not too long ago, a series of phone related transformations started to pop up, all of which seemed to have different people causing them with various new victims every time. But they all had two things in common. First, the phone. Reports eventually revealed it to be the same phone in every encounter. It was said to look very sketchy. Literally. Its appearance seem'd to be that of a messy drawing. Like a crudely drawn recreation of a phone, manifested in the physical world.

The second, much more disturbing link, changes caused by the sketchy phone would resist all forms of correction or reverse transformation. While anything that controlled the persons body would stop then the phone was no longer pointed on them, the changes were somehow stuck on them. Seemingly, only removable by the sketchy phone itself.

Though it could not break THE RULE, it was still very dangerous. Many victims were created from the many hands that claimed the phone, only to seemingly lose it shortly after and another to find and use it.

That is, until one day, it just... stopped.

The final 'victim' was discovered to be the last known abuser of the sketchy phones powers, before victim got the upper hand and turned it on their attacker. They took their revenge and then left, taking the phone with them, seemingly never seen again. Soon after, all victims, other then the final, began to recover as the effects of the phone seemed to be removed from them and finally peace resumed once again, the sketchy phone and it's final user seemingly gone.

But one question remained, was this sketchy phone truly the only one...

...or just a crudely drawn copy of something even more powerful?

SO. UH. This took a bit to do. :)

One of the rules I had set up for the patreon was that I couldn't make any running series on DA/pixiv be an exclusive here on patreon, mainly to not just decide to take things 'hostage' at random. The rule seemed simple but had a bit of a flaw. While I had only considered currently running series, it did also mean if I did anything really ripe for a sequel on a public day, then I couldn't post it to a patreon day. So a lot of fun stuff ended up getting stuck in limbo. Which also made it a bit hard to get some kind of series started here.

HOWEVER. I did say any running series. And as is happens, almost a year ago, I had a series that I ended a bit too early into it's lifespan, due to various reasons IRL and otherwise. In the end, it was the spark that eventually pushed me to finally start drawing more consistently and eventually, finally make a patreon.

So I'm happy to say, this is the start of a sequel series to Changes (Un)Prompted. I felt like a prelude to it was in order, so while the story and the sequence aren't really linked, it does feel right as a setup for the future ones. :)

As for the actual drawing and coloring... it took a LONG TIME. I wanted the white room tf feel that the original had, so no backgrounds, it's just the one on one with the character and the new phone. Unfortunately, most of the work is just the character anyways, so it didn't really cut down that much time. I also got a prefab for the phone made up so it can be more consistent as well as a much easier time just putting it into new ones, so hopefully the part I do won't take AS long. :)
