ArTorr Monthly | March 2025

Welcome back to ArTorr Monthly! Here's the scoop on what I worked on last month and what you should look out for in the month(s) ahead!

Rogue One is Imminent

I've talked a lot about this video. You've heard me talk a lot about this video. So I won't talk too much more about this video. What I will say is I'm hard at work to get to the finish line and get the full video out to you as soon as possible. I expected that to be at the end of February, but as usual, life happens, and thus it can be hard to predict when exactly videos like mine will get done. All I can do is continue working, and communicate to you where I'm at.

I won't announce a release date until the video is fully finished, but I'm anticipating that it will be sometime in the next two weeks. That's not a promise, but just what I expect. I can't wait for you to see the video, and frankly, I can't wait to divert my full attention to the next video, because it's very exciting...

Andor

It's finally time y'all. You can scroll way back on Patreon, and find an announcement for a video on Andor Season 1 all the way back to the beginning of 2023. I've been researching and outlining this video longer than any other video I've worked on, and though it's always been a background project, that's finally going to change after the Rogue One video is out.

My ideas for this video are more ambitious than any other video I've worked on as well, and so I fully expect I will be on this for the long haul. You won't see this video until the summer at the soonest. While it's a bummer to be writing those words, it's important to be honest with you about where your support is going-- and if I may say, it will be going towards an awesome, awesome project that I'm beyond stoked to be doing. That's all I can say until I'm further in, so for now, I look forward to start writing the script later this month.

I'm Moving to Michigan

I didn't want to announce this until it was official, but now that is is, I can formally say: I'm moving to Michigan at the end of March. It's a lot to get into the reasons for why Michigan and why now (I'll elaborate more on tomorrow's ParkesTorr), but in short, it's a move that will bring me closer to personal goals and living a happier life. I'll be moving in with a close friend of mine, doing some Midwest traveling, and of course, working on videos. This move is another part of why the Andor video will take so long, but it's also a long-term investment in the cultivation of a space where I can focus on being creative and being myself. It's exciting and scary, but I know it will ultimately be a positive change that will lead to cool new opportunities.

That's All Folks!

That concludes ArTorr Monthly for March 2025. Not the most exciting update, and I imagine next month won't be all that exciting either, given the timing of my move, but I appreciate you taking the time to read this all the same. Stay safe and take care of yourself this March. I'll see you again soon!

Comments

I am looking forward to the Andor project and have been rewatching the series. I recently purchased the 4K steelbook. The show explores themes of radicalization, and I have been thinking about whether Star Wars Rebels could have explored that aspect more deeply with Ezra. It would have been interesting to see this teenager's gradual radicalization by the rebellion.
