Promised Land: The Journey of Jedi Survivor is now live on ArTorr!

A video on Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was a no-brainer. I love Fallen Order, and our Failure is Not The End video is how many of you found me a few years ago.

But at the time Jedi Survivor found me, I was spread thin between three jobs, and could hardly spare the time-- or the motivation-- to work on any new videos; at the time, the Jurassic Park video was my primary focus, but it was going to come together very slowly. I played Jedi Survivor late at night as an escape. But the inherent fatigue, frustration, and hopelessness of chasing something that wasn't quite working out that I entered the experience with gave me a lens to connect with Cal's story in Jedi Survivor in a way I was not prepared for. It held up a mirror, and I was not initially comforted by what it reflected back. But dissecting the story-- and regaining a bit more balance in my own life-- allowed me to healthily reflect on my own identity, as much as I could reflect on Cal's. Months later, I share these reflections with you, wrapped up in an epic analysis of Jedi Survivor's core themes of survival, trauma, and growth.
