It's Pollin' Time: "Moving Relationship Stories" Edition
Added 2025-06-18 18:00:13 +0000 UTCThanks for all of your votes in the Daniel Day-Lewis poll last week. I'm scheduling There Will Be Blood to be watched soon! (And not to worry, I am keeping track of all winners, even if they're not watched immediately. 😊 And now for the next poll...
One feature on Letterboxd that I haven't explored much of is all of the themes and nanogenres that movies are sorted into. I feel like these can work really well for polls here and there! So here are four random movies that I've pulled from the Moving Relationship Stories theme on LBX.
Happy Voting! Poll will close end of day Sunday.

2025-06-18 21:08:37 +0000 UTCI am a big fan of Edward Scissorhands. The song Ice Nine Kills wrote about it is pretty good too. But my vote goes to Cast Away simply because it is a straight fucking banger lol

2025-06-18 19:04:22 +0000 UTCThe director of Pride & Prejudice made a very cool movie I really enjoy, called Hanna (2011). I will see P&P at some point, though, as it is very well-liked, and it is the 20th anniversary this year as well. Some others that I think could go well with P&P if it gets polled again under different circumstances would be Little Women (2019), Emma (2020), and Sense and Sensibility (1995).

2025-06-18 18:07:56 +0000 UTCI haven't actually seen Pride & Prejudice, but I gave it a vote just because it didn't have any (and it seems like the winner is already pretty obvious, haha).
