Since I wasn't able to watch this entire season at once, I kindly ask for NO hints or spoilers for the last half of the season. I don't want to have to avoid reading comments on this reaction until I do. I imagine there are a ton of Easter Eggs and references that I've missed, so feel free to let me know about those! A fun fact from behind the scenes: they did use the same exact sets from the first season, but they didnβt film the second season in Atlanta. They moved the entire production to London quite possibly by ship. I have been waiting so long to tell you this: Ke Huy Quan is finally in the MCU!!! Ke started out as a child actor through his roles in The Goonies and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. He was also a stunt coordinator for the first X-Men movie. So in a way, this show is his second Marvel project. Around the time he worked on X-Men, Ke left the acting industry. However, following the success of Crazy Rich Asians in 2018 he reached out to a talent agent and auditioned for Everything Everywhere All At Once. His Goonies co-star and longtime friend Jeff Cohen whoβs now an entertainment lawyer helped negotiate his contract to star in the film. Then after seeing Ke in the role of Waymond Wang, Kevin Feige reached out to him over the phone offering him the role of Ouroboros or O.B. During the call he was driving on a rainy day, and hearing the offer made him cry with excitement - so much so that he had to pull over and let it out before continuing with the conversation. I do agree that Thor isnβt too tall. Furthermore, Tom Hiddleston and Chris Hemsworth are pretty tall and about the same height. Who wouldβve thought tap-dancing would be essential for a presentation? Also, I think this is the first time people praise Loki for his magic. Usually they fear him. And I wouldβve loved to have seen their whole bike ride play out. I mean they did show us that they rode it a bit.

2025-05-10 12:45:41 +0000 UTCGot to say, I'd mostly forgotten the plot for S2 - a major point from how it ends is the main thing I do remember, though some of the events from each episode came back to me as I watched the reaction. IIRC, Marvel fired Jonathan Majors after Loki S2 had been filmed but before it was released. Regardless, I recall being rather disappointed that we saw him again - not for reasons that had nothing to do with his real life issues, but simply because I didn't find Kang interesting in S1 (I haven't seen Quantumania, so I don't know what he's like in that). To me, He Who Remains wasn't a particularly compelling or interesting character (TBH, I found him rather bland and somewhat irritating, although I can't really articulate why), and this Victor Timely variant - who seems like more of a caricature than a character (and again irritating, but in a much more obvious way) - didn't really change that perception.
