Before watching it, I had planned to edit this for the channel sometime next year, but once the credits rolled I decided against that, just because of how much I ended up divulging. Ted is dad of the year for me! So glad it turned out the way it did. Thank you for sharing your story with us, the dynamics of your upbringing and parent’s relationship. I feel like this community is a safe space and I appreciate you ✌🏼

I wanted to share why this movie affects me, but even though only maybe a dozen people will read my comment and none of them will ever know me personally I feel exposed and uncomfortable. Can’t do it. Yes, the scene where Ted slaps the glass into the wall was unscripted and Joanna/Meryl was unamused. I think the acting was top notch, especially the little boy. Good golly, a kid that young and completely believable in the role. What an actor. I imagine this movie is relatable to a lot of people, if they give it watch. Thank you for trusting this community around you enough to share what you did. You certainly have my respect for putting that out there.
