I had also never heard this movie. It was free on Prime for me so I gave it a shot. Glad I did. This was a good movie. The story was engaging and the characters relatable. And Sadie Sink totally carried the movie. That kid can act. Look forward to seeing what she does in the future. When Jimmy made the comment that he’s still in school too, he’s just taking the scenic route. I took that as he dropped out and has not yet returned. The only reason I will even consider he might still be a teenager is the fact he loves at home. Otherwise I sway he’s 20 or 21. Maybe they just didn’t cast young enough. Thank you for clarifying your comment of “can’t relate to that” when Tess’s mom said she would never leave. As a child, I can’t relate either. But as a parent, I can relate. I have never left my children. It’s interesting feeling both sides of that. Again, so glad I watched this.

I haven't looked up reviews yet (I keep forgetting to do my LB segment for these Patreon Exclusive movies). It was fun seeing Theo Rossi in a different role from his Shades role haha. But it also has me excited for more Shades scenes! Yes, Vivian is fantastic. Noted!

I lost one of my best friends in 2020 during lockdown of all times so there wasn't even a public funeral. That December, Cyberpunk 2077 released which contained the song Never Fade Away. This movie released November 4 of 2022. Never Fade Away gave me the strength I needed while I grieved and Dear Zoe gave me the ability to forgive myself and the courage to move on. Especially that "One thing different" monologue towards the end, God that still hits hard. It hurts to see so many people hate bombing this movie on imdb and letterboxd but that's the thing, no one's going to have the same experience with a movie that someone else has. I'm happy to be able to share it with you and your community. This request was for Whitney, RIP dear friend. I love that Theo Rossi basically played himself pre-acting career. WAY different than his Shades persona, huh? I agree, Vivien is an amazing child actress and so so talented for her age. Check out The Boogeyman to see more of her talent!
