Wiki Wednesday: The Night's Cult Leaders - Part 1 .12

Hi everyone,

It is that time of the week again! The time to improve your knowledge on the ever expanding world of Aurea! (more information about Aurea is to be found in the last Wiki Wednesday)

The Night's Cult, a term you might have heard in the last 2 years, a dreaded organisation with one ultimate goal: Destroying the Realm of Eros. And i think it is a good time to take a look on some older Wiki Wednesdays and collect all that info in a useful summary.

We already told you a little bit about what the cult is (which you can find here), so today we are going to tell you more about their leaders, and because this ever growing world is already that big we are going to split this Wiki Wednesday into two parts.

So lets take a look, at Aurea's most popular cult of today in The Night's Cult Leaders - Part 1.

Selene "The Night's Mistress"

Selene, the mighty sorceress in the night, the one and only leader of the Cult. The one who started this quest against the forces of Eros and the instigator of all things to come. Selene was once THE High Priestess of Aur in the capitol city of Eros.

As mentioned, Selene is simply in charge of the cult, her will is law and everything is based on her dark plans. Simple as that

Spyron "Moonface"

Spyron might be someone you know a little less about. That's mainly because the person Spyron is shrouded in mystery. He and Selene are known to share a history in the City of Eros in other times, it was Selene who saw Spyron for what he was, and was the one who diagnosed him with his painful disease.

Nonetheless Spyron is a mighty asset of the cult due to his innate magical powers. He is, next to Selene of course, the most powerful sorcerer in the cult and therefore a powerful asset. He is mainly involved in the magical training of promising sorcerers and the search to the magical secrets of this world, he is also used by the cult as a searcher of alliances among the many enemies the realm has.

Ring "The Thief"

Ring has one very important job: causing havoc in the entire Realm. At this point, the realm's governance is rock solid, and Selene knows that the realm's foundation needs to be weakened before she can take any further steps against the realm. Taking down one loyal city will only result in the total annihilation of the cult by the sheer numbers the Realm can send into the fray.

Ring's job consists of bribing corrupt officials, assassinating loyal magistrates and stirring up the populace against Emperor Lysander II. With a team of hitmen, thieves and smugglers, he tries to break the morale of the realm, one step at a time.
