2023-05-17 16:01:28 +0000 UTCI thought I would share a hack with you. Sounds like you need it. If you use Lychee, the free version, you can hollow anything and it does really well. The feature called "2D Hollow" and setting it to 2.0mm thickness pretty much universally works. (2mm is thick enough to be very sturdy, yet on big parts like tanks etc., it carves out about 80% of the resin usage for that part.) Just remember to turn on the infill with some kind of pattern. (It makes basically internal supports that stay there and keep a big hollow blob from deforming and collapsing on itself. Probably what makes it so sturdy afterward.) Also, you can actually 2D hollow a supported part, and just need to place a drain hole, at least 3mm to be safe, at the lowest point (closest to the plate) possible. If you can also place one higher up that is good too. Just my 2 cents. These have been some of the best models I've had access to.
