Kickstarter Pricing Poll
Added 2021-01-27 05:48:10 +0000 UTCHey there guys, gals, and adventuring pals!
So I'm in the process of working with vendors to find a fulfillment partner for the Kickstarter. As I do, I'm getting different price quotes based on the various possible sizes of the final book. I wanted to ping you folks and get your input on what you think a fair price for the hardcover book would be?
Right now, if we JUST hit the goal, it's a 90 page book with sixteen adventures. If we hit all our stretch goals, it's over 200 pages with 40 adventures. Obviously, doubling the size of the book means the cost goes up quite a bit. If I price the book too low upfront, I risk not collecting enough to pay for the books if we hit all the stretch goals. If I price the book too high up front, I risk losing backers who fear we won't hit the stretch goals.
Quite the quandary huh?
So I leave it in your hands! What would YOU like to see the Kickstarter physical hardcover book go for? What do YOU think is fair?
Cheers,
Benjamin

That's understandable. Right now I'm leaning towards a $35 price point.

As someone recently getting into dnd, it feels like a large investment. As such i voted for the $30 option, as it's be an instant backing. Higher than that I would really have to decide.
