Welcome Back
Added 2019-07-08 16:06:01 +0000 UTCAfter a bit of hiatus I'm coming back and refocusing on the Patreon platform. First, I'll apologize to anyone who was following me here who suddenly saw me disappear; I had a lot of life experience between then and now. I'm in a spot where I have the ability to focus on my art again and I want to do that though, so I'm ready to come back to my Patreon.
So what happened? Last year I was laid off my position at work and spent a few months jobless. Contrary to what you might think, this actually leaves very little time to focus on artwork; I needed to find a job first. I ended up moving across states to the Chicago area and now I'm set up with a new apartment and new job though, and enjoying myself!
I wasn't able to keep up with drawing and uploading works here during that time, so I'd like to start again and focus twice as hard this time on cultivating my works here. I've also rethought about what I'd like to draw and what I want to be creating. In line with that, I'll be focusing on designs and illustrations that will be better for printing on a variety of materials. One day I'd like to be able to make merchandise outside of the basic prints or postcards. I've also begun trying to expand what I draw; more original content and fanart of other series. Once I have more followers here I'll start taking polls for what I should focus on next.
This time, I really want this patreon to succeed because I know it will help me make even more art and become a better artist. I want to be able to make things that will put a smile on people's faces and hopefully make someone else happy with my work. I want to enjoy creating things and inspire others to join me. I hope you'll forgive me for going on hiatus but I'm back now and ready to go!
Over the next few days I'll be posting any artwork I've done in the interval along with WIPs and sketches of things I'm working on now. I'll possibly be making more blog posts like this as well just to keep anyone who's following me updated with my work and life situations. Thanks again for visiting my Patreon page!
