Recorded myself today real quick with my mobile phone during training at home and thought: let's show it here. Even though it's a bit awkward and I'm not used to post such things and to see myself in that way. Also, I'm not wearing make up, am sweaty (28ยฐC outside) and wearing less clothes than I'm used to. Skin sticks to the pole better than fabric! ๐ But Pole Dance has given me more confidence to move my body somehow. And I feel like this awesome community here is a safe environment to post it.
I'm still a beginner, obviously. But on the other hand, I think after 7 months of training I'm starting to see some progress. And that I built up strength. It's been also frustrating a lot of times, when it didn't work as I wanted it to, haha. Also, I should record myself more often to see how I can improve. For example, it felt like I held the individual "tricks" way longer that it actually looks in the video. ๐ Proud of my pointed toes though. ๐
Let me tell you a funny thing: It was a huge revelation to learn in my first lesson, that the pole itself spins. ๐ I always wondered how people do it and that's the secret. ๐ But for warm up and to change things up, I also do static pole - it's even harder to do than spinning. ๐
