Thoughts behind Nox on Holiday / Festival Report + YT Creator Award

I'm gonna share this video directly because I want to say a few words about it.
And an "update" on my YouTube issue down below. 😤

The response and reach of the video has been rather substandard so far and I can guess why. It's not my normal style of video, no fashion presentation or try on. So basically not what my viewers are used to and maybe they don't really know what to do with it, being also no fan of the music or the Goth subculture as a whole.
I expected that to happen, but released it anyway for a couple of reasons.

First, it was really fun. The whole experience, but also cutting the video because it was a different take from the normal (and sometimes boring) editing. And I love how it turned out. Watching it, it makes me want to go there (again) - and I think if anyone else can get that, the video itself is a success. 🌞
Then it's also a nice holiday photo album with moving pictures, haha.
On top of that, doing Goth scene related videos - not only showing the clothes I wear to these parties - was always a plan for my channel. But then came Covid and by the time my channel started to hit it off, there were no parties or events to report about. So it's only now that I can start with festival videos. And nurturing my community only towards fashion for 2 years, it's going to be a bit bumpy with these kind of videos. But I don't want to be reduced to fashion videos only. I really like the Goth (and Metal) scene 🖤, the people, the events, the experiences and it's a big part of me and my life. Normally I spent more time on festivals during summer than on normal vacation. The festivals are my vacations really. 😅
And as with small designers, I see this video as a way to suppport the festival and the bands! 

So I'm already planning the next festival video, probably at the Amphi Festival in Cologne. There are going to be more fashion stands so I can do a small shopping / try on part, but I really like the overall report style.
I'm also going to be at the Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig soon, but that one is going to be holiday only and I'm usually camping there - so no video planned (yet).

And now a small update on YouTube and the Creator Award:

- They're still reviewing or working on the desicion about the Creator Award, it's just ridiculous. 🤣 I'm writing an email every 2 or 3 weeks to remind them about the open case. They "have raised your concern to our internal team to possibly expedite the review of your channel. It might take a few days" (which was 10 days ago already) and by now my contact  "has not received any updates yet from our internal team". I opened the case on January, 14th. So it's bollocks, I say. I'm annoying them with my mails purely out of spite by now. 😝
