It is higher energy and more over the top. Initially I preferred this one. But after I sat with the two for a while I decided on the first take.
EDIT: Also, me talking off camera to the videographer was actually edited in from this take, and there was more of it here.

I agree with you on using the 1st shot. I feel as if it was more powerful and concise if that makes sense. I love the 2nd shot too though it's more raw and I think it was perfect for this audience.
