let's discuss: worth the price?

Hi everyone!
I just found these leggings (along with a rather similar dress and bodysuit) at the current Mugler collection. All in all an interesting piece and I think it would look good on pictures or in a video. But: It's 440€. 🧐😳😆 For me that's rather a lot.
Yesterday though, I had a conversation with a model friend and she was like: "Designer wear is always gonna come at an extra cost I think but so worth it" - but she didn't really explain or justify the real benefits of this designer wear and price. 🤪

So what do you think? Is a leggings like this worth 440€? Or do you think that's way to expensive (as I do).

Of course I cannot deny that I would wear and use such a leggings - so if anyone wants to make me a really expensive gift... 😇 but seriously: I'm not really into spending money on overpriced fashion - maybe that's just how I was raised or maybe it would change if I'd own any designer pieces and became enlightened to its benefits (if there are some)?! But all in all I'm more of a shopping-during-sale girl. 😅
