I just got back from my trip and have two days until we kick off the Big Mushy Happy Lump Tour!
The launch at Strand Bookstore went really well. I guess a lot of you connected the dots between my "snake pit" comic and the fact that I was doing a public speaking event. I do have stage fright, but luckily it usually fades within the first couple minutes that I'm up there. It's mostly leading up to the event, oddly enough.
Anyways, there was a huge turnout (we sold out!! eee!) and it was a fantastic crowd. Lots of great questions and so wonderful to see everyone in person :)
I start the Big Mushy Happy Lump tour on the 20th. Will be posting a more complete list of everything with updates, etc.
I'm sorry for the lack of comics everyone. When I return from the tour I will be back and will also begin working on my THIRD book. Which, I have some questions for you guys about and what you would like to see, but that's to come.
Finally, I wanted to share with you that this long-form comic I've been working on behind the scenes is gaining traction and we have a banner completed. I'm very, very happy with it and excited to be working in a style that's more reminiscent of my illustration work. I attached the banner so you can all see!
