Advanced Techniques - Emulsions (Cold Buttered Rum)

Hi Tammy, you should use unsalted butter for this recipe. You can certainly use this to make hot buttered rum, Add two oz of rum, one oz of the butter syrup, and hot water. You can adjust the recipe to taste. Here's another recipe I've used and enjoyed, but the butter will separate unless you use an emulsion https://youtu.be/BkaM0b-Q4Cw?t=3m51s
