Katie alternate look

I recently reached out to one of my favorite muscle girl artists on dA, msclgrl, who has been a good friend over the years, we seemed to begin around the same time as trying this medium, and even though we are not from the same language primarily we have had great communication. I asked him for some advice on how to get some more realistic look on the skin texture than I have been able to come up with. He was happy to help and gave me a lot of great advice and given his immediate suggestions I decided to use Katie as my guinea pig, don't tell her I called her that, it wouldn't be good for me. Anyway, as you can see, it did make a lot of visible changes to her overall appearance, especially, for me, her face, not sure if it is a good or bad thing, but her muscles do seem to pop and her skin does take on a more skin, less plastic-ish, feel to it. So tell me what you think. I am still experimenting and he did say in a follow up message that these tips do not always work perfectly for all subjects and gave me a few 'work around' and fixes which I hope to try out and implement over the course of time.
