Path of the Thunderbird Cover Reveal

One of our authors, eden Hudson (my co-author on Rogue Dungeon) has been working on a new project for us called Path of the Thunderbird. It's a Wuxia novel--sort of a Chinese based epic fantasy. There's magic, monsters, martial arts ... It's just absolutely amazing. The cover art style is definitely different from a lot of the books Shadow Alley Press puts out, but we wanted something that really reflected the story, and this does that in spades.
As a general rule, a cover is really just a fancy visual advertisement for a book. Your first chance to snag a potential reader, so it really only has three jobs: 1. It needs to look professional. 2. It needs to perfectly capture the genre. 3. It needs to perfect capture the tone of the story. If I've done my job right, you should be able to look at a cover and know EXACTLY what kind of story your picking up before you ever read the first page. This cover went through quite a few iterations, but I love how it turned out! Anyway, the book will be out in a few months, and if you've enjoyed Rogue Dungeon, you absolutely have to check this one out when it drops.
