Ladies and gentlemen,

it's time again to start talking about where I am going next!

With the Grenzwacht #2 set done, I want to do go back for a quick detour to the Viking setting and complete the Viking KNARR, the trading ship. Maybe even do the FAERY rowing boat too. As you can see in the pics I have the prototype shape locked down and even added the raised decks, so we have a proper submerged storage deck.

I have started the texturing and got a first try on the exterior and interior hull parts done.

So expect to be able to expand your Viking fleet soon! :)

But obviously that is not the end of GRENZWACHT!

The other sketch I have shown is about what I want to do next with that setting. The main direction will be fortification structures like walls, gate and other towers. But I also have some ideas for little extensions you can add to your buildings to make them more unique ... esp. if you are going to build a couple of them. This setting is going to keep me busy over the next months - hopefully leading towards everything you need to build a full fledged castle. On the top right you can see a little sketch showing a keep.

I will also keep making basic bits. For now I will focus more on some storage items that can both be used for the armory but also for the Knarr!

So there you go. My to-do list is as long as ever :)

On my private little adventure with getting our apartment back in order we have finished that side quest "bathroom warzone". After a couple of days of taking the bathtub out and replacing the foundation (which was just a block of styrofoam it turned out) with something more stable the guys put the bathtub back in place and finished all the tiles and sealing of gaps so that now after 24hrs wait to let it all dry I had the absolute pleasure of taking a shower again!

Really focusing all of my Jedi mind trick capability :) now on the insurance so they are able to give us approval to activate the renovation of the kitchen stuff so that the last step of this way too long adventure can come to and end.

That's it for this week, until next time I wish you all the sanity, health and happiness you need and deserve and as always ... keep building :)

Chris
