Working on tribal bits!

Ladies and gentlemen,

with the big hut done and released, I will start working on some basic bits for this setting.

So here is what I am planning on doing! I am looking into racks for tanning hides and drying meat/fish first and have also started sketching something like totem poles. Another thing I want to pursue is making bones/skeletons but I think this will need some time to play around with geometry and really nailing it into something that will both look good and be not too difficult to build.

I have often heard the desire to have a bonfire. I am a bit clueless with that one. I am not sure how to approach that on the level of detail I usually like to have. I will study pics and see if I can turn that into a geometry that - again - looks believable, good and is buildable (without having to build all the single logs by hand :) ).

So this is the plan for the next days and weeks. If you have other ideas for this setting let me know and will look into it.

I have some future regular sets planned for this setting too but I will focus on the bit this month and let those regulars simmer in the back of my head for a while. I like this rhythm of alternating between larger sets and the bits for now as it was a bit stressful when I mashed it all into the same time space.

Other than that I am also working on the next steps after I am done with this phase of tribal. I would love to delve into Sci-Fi and also some "Euro"-Fantasy buildings more (castle? proper village buildnigs?) but I will check with you guys first before I commit.

Sadly with the world going a tad mad again just after I have thought the covid thing was easing up on us slowly, I can only - like so often in the past - wish you all to stay safe and sane and maybe keep building stuff to keep your mind off the craziness we have right now.
