Dungeon Sickness

Greetings dungeoneers!

The current access key is "39813".

Progress has been a bit slow on the game due to a bout of sickness infecting everyone here in the Pug Dungeon. But we are still hard at work to flesh out Fur Quests with additional battle backs for extra flavor and more branching paths to make the quests a bit more fun. We are working on making it possible to save Mina without accepting the quest, and a branch that adds a bit more to the scene with Celine and Kristiina.

But most of our work this week has been on the dice system. Dice is fun cause it adds a fun element of randomness to events. But how do we stop people from save scumming their way to victory? Ultimately if that is the experience people want, more power to them. But we still wanted something more to the system.

In this case, we drew inspiration from a little indie game known as The Council. Where you have a limited amount of action points to spend on skill checks. This means even if you succeed on every roll that comes your way, you will soon be exhausted and won't have any rolls for encounters down the line.

We might add items that give you additional action points during the day, but we'll see. This is just another list of things that need to be tested before we implement the day and night cycles.

Regardless the dice system is about halfway done. We got the difficulty settings and intro animations done, but we are waiting until the design of the cards is finalized before moving any further.

Speaking of the cards! There have been a few completionists out there asking for a gallery feature in the game so they can collect all of the lewd scenes.

Sadly we aren't sure if this is really possible, as Fur Quests features a branching narrative. You can't really shake Nagara down for money and have a romantic exchange without things turning a little awkward.

But we figured we could do a little something for all of you completionists out there by making collectible cards and portraits to add to a gallery, so that is something we are looking into.

But what do you think? Do you have any suggestions for an in-game gallery or other collectables? Be sure to let us know down in the comments.

And thank you all for your time and support. <3
