Here you can see the first two buildings - the core 5x3" house and the 3x2" extension - that will be in the Tropical Village Builder #1 set. The extension can also be used as a separate building if needed.
I made a separate file for door and windows if you want to build them open. Here are a couple of pics showing these details. So there is one version with these traditional Z-shaped bars ...

... and then there is the "blinds" version of doors and windows. I decided to have the blinds window open up so I glued the part on and let it dry in the raised position.

Things like these look really good but hamper with modularity. For example when you combine the house with the extension (below) you need to glue the open door inside the extension and not the house wall (else you will not be able to combine them well).

One thing I don't think I have shown much is the option to build detailed stairs. I think the easy version looks great and is fast to build but if you want the added realism you can build that version too!

I went through all the files and I think I pretty much got them all in release shape. Now I only need to create the instructions and the cut-files for auto-cutter users.
There is one change of plans: I will not include the decoration elements for two reasons. They are hard to include without going crazy with layer numbers and I have quite a few ideas so if I would wait until I have them all done it would take very long. So I have decided to release them as "decoration bits" here on Patreon.
Here is a preview of what I have for the Pirate-theme decorations.

I need to add the background but the idea is to have some sections like a wardrobe or a weapons rack (and more to come, like treasure maps etc.) which you can just glue as a whole to the inside or outside where required. And then I want to make a "Jungle" theme with spears and tiki masks and fishing/boating tools theme ... they will be great to make and enhance the buildings! If you use non-fix sticky glue you could change the looks of your buildings between scenarios!
Finally you might have noticed that I have switched the goal target from $200 to $150 because I really want you guys to have the great treasure chest. I think we will reach the goal soon.
OK that's all for today. I hope you are as excited as I am for the new buildings. Until next time, have fun and keep building!
