Starting to texture the tea house
Added 2018-08-16 08:56:17 +0000 UTCI have completed texturing all the segments except the main house (and the posts which are on the same page as the house).
For the house I want to recycle some of the elder house shoji panels, but I have to check if and how it makes sense. Also I want a mud wall skin for the solo version without the veranda, so I need to do some more planning of the house texture first.
Without the house module the assembly holds quite fine, which was a good test for me. The house will only hold the assembly centered. This detached approached is necessary, so that I can reuse the house geometry in the solo version.
These are the modules disassembled so far. For the solo version I will add some smaller extension parts.
As you can see all of this is still clean and pristine. I will add the weathering layers at the end. But for now I am happy how the look of this building will fit perfectly into the existing village buildings.
I will get a cup of jasmine tea now before I continue with the main house :-)
