Tea house concepts
Added 2018-08-08 11:52:28 +0000 UTCThe past few days I have been away in the mountains to escape the summer heat. A friend of ours invited us to visit her beautiful house next to a lake which provided not only a beautiful view on the balcony but also cool winds.
I have been working on several concepts and design sketches including this months building: the tea house!
The core building will be a 4x4" building that can either stand alone as seen on the right. This version is modeled after clay wall houses I have found in research. In addition there will be an entrance roof module.
The other is placed on a raised veranda/engawa going all around the house. This one I see featuring the shoji wall panels, which I introduced in the last set (the elder house).
As usual with the layers it will be easy to switch texturing/looks and create different versions of tea houses.
