Elders house fold flat
Added 2018-06-21 06:15:22 +0000 UTCI am working on the fold flat parts of the elders house. The main building is no problem but I went through a couple of approaches for the veranda module.
So this is my final version so far. The assembly works fluent now. The roof can even be glued together and still unfold. The floor of the veranda needs to come apart for flat storage due to the intersection with the posts.
For the posts I want to add some positioning pockets in the wall parts. I thought I could have them glued to the wall but with the fold-flat parts being quite thick, they did not bend flat well. But actually I think this is even better as you could replace them easily this way if something went wrong with the post parts.
A little more fine tuning to do and then I'll build a textured version!
