Elder house prototype refined
Added 2018-06-08 05:57:18 +0000 UTCFor the second prototype build I have refined some areas. It's not 100% final yet but getting in the right direction.
I have made the main roof a little higher and more steep so that it offsets the veranda roof a little better. I also made the posts full 3D (which will also work with the fold flat solution!).
I also started optimizing the glue flaps for better assembly. There are a couple of things I need to sort out first before I continue with the texturing, so there will be a third prototype test soon.
One other thing I am thinking about is, how to make a shoji (sliding) door open...
