Next Samurai Village builder: the Elders house
Added 2018-05-29 14:09:33 +0000 UTCNow that the preparations for this months release are finished, I wanted to show you what I have planned for the next set.
It is - what I call - an "Elders house", a 6x4" base with veranda (engawa) on each long side. Above you see a test rendering with some textures scribbled on. Variations will include different shoji panels and the engawa can be full length or as shown on the front side with a small part extending from the main building.
This roof version would allow, to have add on modules for the engawa. You could have none, only on one side or on both.
This is another roof version, going more in the direction of the next houses I have planned: the Tea house and the Village Samurai house. Both will have the engawa go all around the building and the typical (but more flat than the village building) irimoya roof.
I lean towards the first roof as it will allow for all the variations but I want to hear from you what you think about this.

Let's say I rather do one perfect on not two rushed. We can see how far I get. If it's no problem I can add the bonus this time!
