Hey Folks,
I'm very pleased to announce that the Clickspring Fire Piston is now available for purchase, at a retail price of $89.00 USD plus shipping. As a Patron you get the first opportunity to purchase, and as a thank you for your support I am offering all Patrons $10 off at checkout using the code "CLICKSPRINGPATRON".
Buy Now: https://clickspring.myshopify.com/products/the-clickspring-fire-piston
Available stock will initially be limited to 20, so that I can confirm that all is as it should be for the e-commerce and shipping side of things. Once that all checks out over the next few days/weeks, it's open season on the first production run of 350.
I mentioned in the status post below that I'm in the process of shooting an accompanying instructional video, so that's not yet complete. However the beta testers used a written instruction sheet to get their first ignition, and appear to have had few issues. So for now that's the source of user info until I finish the video. You can download those instructions here.
If you should encounter any problems during the order or fulfillment process, please let me know immediately, and I'll get right onto solving it for you.
Cheers,
Chris.
PS This is a collaborative effort between myself and John Saunders from NYCCNC/Saunders Machine Works. John has been an incredible source of production engineering knowledge, and experience. Helping me avoid some of the traps and pitfalls that often affect a project like this. If you're interested in doing something like this for yourself, then I cannot recommend John highly enough as a source of information and hard won experience. If you're interested in knowing more about the process of how the production run was implemented, then please feel free to ask any questions in the comments or via message/email.
