A setback and moving forward
Added 2025-11-30 11:10:28 +0000 UTCThank you for your continued support.
Since one of my intentions was to proceed without any prior notice, I honestly hesitated whether to even report this to you. However, I have decided to share that a new project I had been investing significant time and initial resources into has unfortunately fallen through.
Given the unique nature of the production and the people involved, these kinds of issues happen quite often, and I am reminded of my own shortcomings every time. This time, the timing felt like "now or never," so I took a significant risk—deprioritizing ongoing projects to make this happen. Unfortunately, we couldn't keep everyone involved on the same page, and things didn't work out. I could technically gather a new team and restart, but that would only further delay the release of any content. So, I have decided to pull the plug on this project for now. I apologize for being so vague about the details.
There certainly were better ways to handle this, and the odds were likely against me from the start. However, if I have a vision that can only be achieved through specific means, I will likely take the challenge again in the future—even if it means risking similar failures.
That said, a string of setbacks has left me feeling a bit worn out recently. Right now, I am trying to pick myself up and focus solely on releasing my work to you. My original goal for this month was to release a short version of the new work I was previously working on (something more substantial than a teaser) and to share some news about this project. But, as you can see, things ended up like this.
I’ve said this before, but please do not feel obligated to continue your financial support while I’m not releasing content. I would appreciate it if you could continue to watch over my work only within your means until the next release.
